Maytag Performa Washer Repair -- Getting the springs reconnected was tougher than getting them off. I did the back ones first. I stuck a 2x4 in the front of the unit to tip the tub back and keep it there to make the distance I had to travel with the spring a little shorter. Again vice grips and ample amounts of forearm torque are required.
